Product Manager, Storage

About this role

Own the vision and multi-year roadmap for Vercel’s storage portfolio, including blob storage, persistent filesystems, and future database and key-value products. Set product direction for performance, reliability, pricing, and enterprise requirements while ensuring storage works seamlessly across Vercel’s cloud.

What you'll do

• Own the storage portfolio vision, strategy, and multi-year roadmap
• Ensure storage products integrate with Vercel Functions, backend services, Sandboxes, and Daemons
• Set performance, availability, and durability goals and make tradeoff decisions
• Shape storage pricing and packaging for customers from hobbyists to enterprises
• Partner with Engineering, Design, and DX to ship primitives used by other product teams
• Work with enterprise customers on scale, compliance, data locality, and encryption requirements
• Use usage, performance, and reliability data to prioritize work

What we're looking for

• Experience shipping storage, database, or data infrastructure products
• Ability to explain storage solutions and their tradeoffs to engineers and customers
• Experience owning connected product areas and setting direction for other teams
• Experience working directly with enterprise customers on data and storage requirements

Nice to have

• Experience at a cloud or data storage provider
• Engineering background or experience building software
• Experience with compliance and security requirements in enterprise procurement
