About this role

Support and execute product marketing for Honeycomb’s observability products, improving how technical buyers understand, evaluate, and adopt them. The role spans messaging, launches, content, sales enablement, competitive intelligence, customer research, and performance measurement, with ownership growing over the first year.

About the company

Honeycomb is an observability platform for debugging production systems with high-cardinality telemetry. It serves engineering teams that need to investigate complex distributed systems quickly.

What you'll do

  • Write accurate product messaging and positioning for web and sales materials
  • Plan and execute small and mid-sized product launches; support larger launches
  • Create practical customer-facing content, including blog posts, solution briefs, web copy, and FAQs
  • Develop sales enablement materials and improve them using customer-call feedback
  • Track competitors and maintain current, reliable competitive materials
  • Interview customers and prospects; develop proof points and share insights internally
  • Define success measures, analyze results, and communicate learnings

What we're looking for

  • 2–5 years in product marketing or an adjacent go-to-market role, with some B2B SaaS experience
  • Strong writing skills, including translating technical concepts into concise, accurate content
  • Curiosity about technical products and willingness to learn how they work
  • Able to coordinate cross-functional projects without formal authority
  • Comfortable with ambiguity, taking initiative, and shipping work
  • Uses data to evaluate decisions and outcomes
  • Demonstrated experience applying AI tools in work

Nice to have

  • Exposure to observability, developer tools, distributed tracing, OpenTelemetry, platform engineering, reliability, or SLOs
  • Experience marketing to engineers
  • Familiarity with AI and LLM tools, coding agents, or MCP-based workflows
  • Experience with webinars, conference talks, or community programs
  • Experience working at a fully distributed company

Benefits

  • Generous equity with an employee-friendly stock program
  • Unlimited PTO
  • Home-office, coworking, and internet stipend
  • Full employee benefits coverage, with additional dependent coverage available
  • Up to 16 weeks of paid parental leave
  • Annual development allowance
