About this role

Support product marketing across Honeycomb’s core observability products, with work spanning positioning, launches, content, sales enablement, and competitive research. The role is aimed at someone early in their product marketing career who can make technical products clear and useful to engineers.

About the company

Honeycomb is an observability platform for debugging production systems with high-cardinality telemetry. It serves engineering teams that need to investigate complex distributed systems quickly.

What you'll do

  • Write and maintain accurate product messaging and positioning
  • Plan and execute small and mid-sized product launches, coordinating across teams
  • Create blogs, solution briefs, web copy, demo scripts, FAQs, and customer-facing materials
  • Equip sales teams with pitch narratives, objection handling, battlecards, and release updates
  • Track competitors and maintain current, trustworthy competitive materials
  • Interview customers and prospects and turn insights into proof points and case studies
  • Measure outcomes and share learnings

What we're looking for

  • 2–5 years in product marketing or an adjacent go-to-market role, including some B2B SaaS experience
  • Strong writing and ability to explain technical concepts clearly and accurately
  • Curiosity about technical products and willingness to learn how they work
  • Able to coordinate cross-functional projects without formal authority
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and taking initiative
  • Uses data to evaluate work honestly
  • Demonstrated experience applying AI tools

Nice to have

  • Exposure to observability, developer tools, distributed tracing, OpenTelemetry, platform engineering, reliability, or SLO practices
  • Experience marketing to engineers
  • Familiarity with AI and LLM tools, coding agents, or MCP workflows
  • Experience with webinars, conference talks, or community programs
  • Experience working at a distributed company

Benefits

  • Generous equity with an employee-friendly stock program
  • Unlimited PTO
  • Home office, coworking, and internet stipend
  • Full employee benefits coverage, with additional dependent coverage available
  • Up to 16 weeks of paid parental leave
