What you'll do
- Build scalable telemetry ingestion and storage pipelines for metrics, logs, and traces across multi-cloud infrastructure
- Evolve observability platforms to improve reliability, reduce costs, and scale
- Build billing and commercialization systems and partnership integrations
- Develop developer productivity, CI/CD, deployment safety, and internal AI agent tooling
- Define testing standards, tiers, and tools across engineering
- Improve alerting, incident tooling, and production debugging workflows
- Lead cross-team technical design and mentor engineers
What we're looking for
- 5+ years of experience building scalable backend systems or platforms
- Experience building or operating observability systems or internal infrastructure at scale
- Proficiency in Python, Go, Rust, or a similar backend language
- Strong distributed-systems understanding and systems-level thinking
- Platform mindset focused on self-service, adoption, and good defaults
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
