Program Manager, Provider Partnerships

About this role

Build and operate a scalable provider partnership program for OpenRouter’s network of model labs and inference providers. Own the provider lifecycle, tiering, compliance cadence, and flagship programs, coordinating across teams to turn one-off relationships into repeatable systems.

What you'll do

• Own the provider lifecycle from sourcing and onboarding through activation, QBRs, and renewal
• Design and maintain provider tiers, expectations, and benefits
• Develop reusable playbooks, templates, self-serve onboarding, and automated communications
• Coordinate program-wide changes, including provider re-papering and compliance attestations
• Run the Model Provider Early Access Program and verified/certified provider tracks
• Maintain provider SLAs, attestations, and auditable compliance processes
• Set team operating cadence, reviews, and reporting
• Partner with Product, Engineering, Legal, Finance, and Security to improve the program

What we're looking for

• Experience building and running programs or strategy at a large, complex organization
• Strong systems thinking and ability to make recurring work repeatable and automatable
• Cross-functional operational leadership without relying on formal authority
• High ownership, initiative, and ability to execute in a fast-moving team
• Strong written communication and ability to create clear documentation and playbooks

• Familiarity with AI model labs, inference providers, and provider onboarding or certification
