What you'll do

• Hire, lead, and coach regional Forward Deployed Engineers; establish technical standards and career paths.
• Scope customer engagements, conduct discovery and architecture reviews, and develop proposals with clear ROI.
• Maintain delivery quality through milestone tracking, technical standards, and clean handoffs.
• Sponsor priority customer engagements and manage relationships from engineering teams to executives.
• Share detailed product feedback and turn successful work into reusable solutions.
• Train and enable GSI and consulting partners to deliver engagements to the team's quality bar.

What we're looking for

• Directly managed engineers building and shipping production software.
• Professional software development experience in Python, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
• Experience building and deploying AI-powered workflows in production.

Nice to have

• U.S. citizenship and an active security clearance or ability to obtain one.
• Leadership experience in forward deployed engineering, data science, machine learning engineering, or software engineering.
• Experience debugging model failures in production AI systems.
• Experience scoping large technical engagements and presenting to executive and engineering leaders.
• Experience enabling GSI or consulting partners.
