The team

What you'll do
- Champion design and research as strategic partners in roadmap planning.
- Set the vision and success measures for the design and research function.
- Improve design and research quality and maturity across the organization.
- Enable foundational work such as design systems and design and content playbooks.
- Define how AI supports design and research workflows, including appropriate guardrails.
- Identify strategic UX opportunities and balance priorities with team capacity.
- Coach team members and establish career frameworks and progression paths.
What we're looking for
- Senior design leadership experience owning a function and leading designers and researchers.
- Track record of influencing product strategy and advocating for design and research at leadership level.
- Experience building or maturing a design function, including processes, systems, or ways of working.
- Understanding of both design and research disciplines and ability to support them equally.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, coaching, and feedback skills.
Nice to have
- Experience in or familiarity with the hotel or travel industry.
- Experience building or scaling teams.
- Experience building and maintaining a design system.
