The team

What you'll do
- Manage lab ordering, inventory, equipment, consumables, shipping, receiving, and space organization.
- Develop procurement, inventory and sample tracking, maintenance, onboarding, training, and SOP systems.
- Coordinate lab buildouts, moves, equipment installations, and facilities relationships.
- Track operating and capital budgets, purchase orders, invoices, and forecasts.
- Source and manage vendors, negotiate quotes and service contracts, and coordinate maintenance visits.
What we're looking for
- Experience managing day-to-day life sciences lab operations, including equipment, inventory, ordering, safety, space, and scheduling.
- Hands-on procurement and vendor management experience, including negotiating quotes and service contracts.
- Experience tracking and managing operating budgets, purchase orders, invoices, and capital requests.
Nice to have
- Lab operations experience in biotech, pharma, diagnostics, or a life-sciences startup.
- Life sciences degree and prior bench research experience.
- People-management experience.
- Experience scaling facilities, utilities, permitting, and equipment.
- Familiarity with liquid-handling platforms and lab inventory, sample tracking, equipment scheduling, or ELN systems.
- Capital equipment lifecycle and regulated biological-material shipping experience.
- Experience using AI tools for team or process management.
