What you'll do

  • Design and engineer therapeutic antibodies, including format selection, humanization, affinity maturation, and Fc engineering.
  • Define screening cascades covering binding, function, cross-reactivity, and developability.
  • Plan progression from lead optimization through IND-enabling pharmacology, pharmacokinetics, toxicology, and CMC handoff.
  • Coordinate antibody production and studies with CROs and academic partners.
  • Test AI-designed antibodies and feed experimental results back to research teams.
  • Maintain high-quality, well-documented experimental data and communicate findings across disciplines.

What we're looking for

  • PhD in biochemistry, protein engineering, immunology, molecular biology, or a related field.
  • Therapeutic antibody discovery and engineering experience, including taking at least one antibody through candidate selection and IND-enabling studies.
  • Working knowledge of antibody IND requirements across pharmacology, pharmacokinetics, toxicology, and CMC.
  • Able to work independently, collaborate across functions, and navigate ambiguity.

Nice to have

  • At least five years of therapeutic antibody experience beyond the PhD.
  • Advanced multiple antibody programs into IND-enabling studies or the clinic, with contributions to pre-IND or IND documents.
  • Hands-on antibody expression, purification, and biophysical characterization experience.
  • Experience directing CRO production, assays, and in vivo studies.
  • Structural biology, computational protein design, or coding skills.
  • Experience with AI or ML tools in life sciences.
  • Relevant publications or patents.

Benefits

  • Generous vacation and parental leave
