Manage User Policy operations to assess business eligibility and risk, supporting responsible growth and trust on Stripe’s platform. Investigate escalations, work with internal teams and external partners, and use analytics to improve policy processes.

What you'll do

• Assess partnership risks and make decisions balancing opportunity with compliance
• Investigate, triage, and action escalations across channels
• Coordinate with business units, legal teams, financial partners, and merchants on policy requirements
• Use analytics to optimize risk strategies
• Develop and improve policy operations and compliance processes
• Identify framework gaps and recommend improvements
• Contribute to business reviews on policy impact and growth

What we're looking for

• Experience in risk analysis, investigations, or risk operations
• Excellent written and verbal English communication
• Strong diagnostic thinking and problem-solving, including data-informed judgment
• Able to prioritize in a fast-moving environment
• Works effectively across teams and with external partners
• Comfortable working in an in-office, collaborative environment

Nice to have

• Payments, e-commerce, or fintech risk experience, including card-not-present risk
• Trust and Safety experience
• Knowledge of risk schemes, prevention methods, or detection tools
• Risk experience across multiple industries
• Experience at a high-growth technology company
• Experience working from a queue
