Seasonal Intake Specialist (Part-time, Thrive, DPT)

About this role

Lead remote onboarding consultations for members starting Sword’s digital physical therapy program. You’ll help members prepare for treatment, document their needs, and coordinate a smooth handoff to their treating physical therapist. This seasonal role guarantees at least 10 hours per week for three months, with possible extension or conversion to a permanent position.

What you'll do

• Lead video and audio onboarding consultations with members.
• Introduce members to the program and help them overcome barriers to starting treatment.
• Document member information and prepare handoff notes for treating physical therapists.
• Review and annotate recorded video and chat interactions for quality assurance and product improvement.
• Collaborate with intake and clinical operations leaders on digital care processes and related projects.

What we're looking for

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree and active physical therapist license.
• At least 3 years of clinical experience, including treatment of musculoskeletal disorders.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to engage members.
• Comfort with technology and managing multiple platforms simultaneously.
• Adaptability to evolving processes and a hands-off approach.
• Availability for a flexible schedule of 10–24 hours per week, with the following month’s availability provided at least 30 days in advance.
• Must reside in the United States.

• Bilingual skills, which qualify for a higher base rate.

Benefits

• Guaranteed base pay of $28/hour ($30/hour for bilingual candidates), plus estimated volume-based compensation of $13–$24/hour on average.
