What you'll do
- Design and build AI agents, workflows, and their underlying platform
- Design APIs, schemas, and data pipelines for agents
- Build reliable, low-latency services for live agents
- Extend multi-deployment architecture so clients can be supported without forking the core
- Identify bottlenecks and scale systems as call volume and data complexity grow
- Drive infrastructure and engineering-practice decisions, and mentor engineers
What we're looking for
- 5+ years of backend engineering experience building and operating production systems
- Strong production Python experience, including high-performance APIs
- Solid SQL, schema design, and migration skills
- Experience with event-driven systems and message queues
- Strong understanding of design patterns and clean architecture boundaries
- Experience with cloud platforms, ideally GCP
- Proficient, fluent communication in Greek and English
Nice to have
- Healthcare or other regulated-domain experience
- Voice or telephony systems experience, especially where latency is a product requirement
- Experience serving multiple clients from one codebase
- Distributed systems and high-availability services experience
- CI/CD, containers, and automated testing at scale
