Senior Backend Engineer

About this role

Own the architecture and delivery of Photoroom’s pricing system across its iOS, Android, web, and API products. Work with product and engineering partners to ship growth initiatives, monitor releases, and improve performance at scale.

Stack

What you'll do

• Own the pricing system’s architecture and delivery across all products
• Build and monitor features from design through release
• Collaborate with product and frontend teams on user experiences
• Optimize endpoints to reduce latency and support scale

What we're looking for

• 5+ years of backend development experience with Django and Django REST Framework
• Experience designing relational database schemas, optimizing queries, and running low-downtime migrations
• Experience with SaaS scaling and subscription management
• Hands-on experience with a PostgreSQL or MySQL database larger than 100 GB
• Experience designing APIs with frontend engineers and documenting them
• Fluent in English
