What you'll do
- Design, implement, test, benchmark, and document customer solutions and architectures.
- Support customer onboarding, production launches, migrations, integrations, and proofs of concept.
- Handle L1–L3 support cases when not assigned to customer projects.
- Partner with Product Management, Engineering, and Sales on product and account plans.
- Create documentation, knowledge-base content, reference architectures, blogs, and benchmark results.
- Contribute to hiring and mentoring, and participate in on-call support.
- Travel onsite regionally up to an estimated 35%.
What we're looking for
- 5+ years in professional services, support, technical account management, engineering/SRE, or project management.
- 5+ years implementing, operating, or supporting scalable, fault-tolerant distributed database systems.
- Strong knowledge of databases, OLAP, cloud platforms, distributed systems, Linux/Unix, Kubernetes, or big data.
- Experience leading large technical projects with multiple engineers.
- Expertise with a public cloud provider and its infrastructure services.
- Strong customer-facing communication and collaboration skills.
Nice to have
- Hands-on ClickHouse experience.
- Experience with open-source technologies.
- Experience with data pipeline tools such as Kafka, Kinesis, Spark, or RabbitMQ.
