What you'll do

- Oversee employee stock plans and execute stock sale transactions.
- Lead fundraising and M&A deal execution.
- Manage the investment portfolio and execute venture investments.
- Design legal and business processes to support international growth.
What we're looking for
- JD from a US-accredited law school and at least 5 years of legal practice experience.
- Experience with securities compliance, corporate governance, international subsidiaries, financing, M&A, and strategic transactions.
- Ability to manage multiple complex transactions simultaneously and work independently.
- Practical, business-minded approach and clear, concise writing and communication.
- Curiosity, adaptability, and interest in the open web.
Nice to have
- Experience outside the US.
- Experience with software integrations, open-source licensing, and intellectual property.
- Experience with tender offers, fund formations, or public offerings.
