Senior Data Scientist

About this role

Build and productionize traditional machine learning and generative AI systems for cybersecurity, from anomaly detection models to LLM-powered analyst tools and agentic workflows. Partner across the company to identify useful applications, communicate results, and make AI capabilities practical to deploy and maintain.

Stack

What you'll do

• Build and ship ML and GenAI systems across the lifecycle from research to production
• Collaborate with operations, engineering, service delivery, and subject matter experts to develop deployable AI capabilities
• Assess where prompt engineering, retrieval, and agentic AI can complement classical ML
• Communicate the rationale, results, and limitations of work to stakeholders
• Mentor data scientists and non-technical colleagues

What we're looking for

• 4+ years of professional data science experience building and shipping production models
• Experience with traditional ML methods including classification, regression, anomaly detection, clustering, and time series
• Hands-on experience with LLMs, prompt engineering, retrieval, and grounding architectures
• Experience building or contributing to LLM agentic systems with tool use and orchestration
• Strong Python, SQL, and data analysis and visualization skills
• Solid statistical foundations and ability to select appropriately simple methods
• Strong collaboration and communication skills

Nice to have

• Cybersecurity experience such as anomaly detection, threat hunting, or risk scoring
