What you'll do
- Analyze user journeys, activation, engagement, retention, and monetization to identify product opportunities.
- Design and evaluate A/B tests, including hypotheses, metrics, guardrails, and sample sizing.
- Define product metrics and partner with Engineering to improve instrumentation and data quality.
- Build reusable analytical datasets and dbt models; collaborate on data pipelines.
- Use Python for statistical analysis, modeling, and reproducible automation.
- Lead ambiguous analytical problems and communicate recommendations across teams.
What we're looking for
- 7+ years in data science, product analytics, or a related field, with demonstrated product influence.
- Strong statistics foundation, including inference, hypothesis testing, regression, and bias and confounding.
- Practical A/B testing experience, including power assessment and experiment validity.
- Advanced SQL and strong Python skills for statistical analysis and reproducible workflows.
- Working knowledge of dbt, data modeling, and modern data platforms; familiarity with orchestration and ETL pipelines.
- Regular experience with AI coding tools and the judgment to validate generated code and results.
- Experience partnering with product teams, ideally on consumer products.
- Ability to structure ambiguous problems, prioritize work, and communicate recommendations.
Nice to have
- Experience with Snowflake, large datasets, query performance, and cost.
- Experience in crypto, tokenized assets, finance, or fintech.
