What you'll do
- Analyze people-related processes such as recruiting, promotion, retention, pay equity, and organizational effectiveness.
- Translate research findings into visualizations and recommendations for business leaders.
- Lead compensation analytics in partnership with Employment Legal and Total Rewards.
- Design and measure Airbnb’s quality-of-hire metric with Recruiting.
- Own sensitive statutory and governance reporting.
- Use AI tools and LLM-based agents to accelerate analysis and synthesis.
What we're looking for
- At least 5 years of industry experience and a master’s degree or PhD in a quantitative field.
- Deep experience with causal inference on observational data and quasi-experimental research.
- Proficiency in R or Python and SQL.
- Experience applying data science to compensation, recruiting, or workforce questions, including legally sensitive data.
- Clear communication and ability to drive impact with cross-functional partners.
- Experience working with large practical datasets.
- Familiarity with survey design and analysis.
