Senior Engineer, Full Stack - Pentest Experience

About this role

Build customer-facing product capabilities for Horizon3’s autonomous penetration testing platform. This senior role is approximately 80% backend and 20% frontend, owning substantial work from technical design through delivery and iteration.

What you'll do

• Deliver product features across backend services, APIs, and web interfaces.
• Own projects end-to-end, including scope, design, implementation, rollout, and iteration.
• Identify technical risks and communicate tradeoffs to stakeholders.
• Write and review code, tests, and technical documentation; mentor engineers.

What we're looking for

• 6+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Production experience building backend services and modern frontend applications.
• Experience with relational databases, cloud platforms, and Dockerized applications.
• Strong API, service architecture, data modeling, communication, and technical ownership skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience.

Nice to have

• PostgreSQL performance tuning or graph database experience.
• GraphQL, ETL/data processing, or observability tooling experience.
• Cybersecurity, vulnerability management, security analytics, or security data platform experience.
• Experience with risk prioritization systems and influencing technical direction across teams.
