What you'll do

• Accountable for the performance of two distributed engineering squads
• Own hiring and team planning
• Lead discovery with customers and community members
• Partner with Product, Design, and engineering leaders
• Own delivery across both squads
• Utilize AI in management work
• Improve squad planning and delivery
• Set engineering direction for frontend foundations

What we're looking for

• Experience managing senior engineers
• Strong technical foundation in modern web or frontend systems
• Track record of managing delivery risks
• Strong product and customer judgement
• Effective written communication in a remote organization
• Appreciation for open-source development
• Experience using AI and automation

• Experience with React and TypeScript
• Leading a developer platform team
