What you'll do
- Own technical projects from problem framing through rollout, user feedback, and measurement.
- Build intuitive, reusable frontend experiences and contribute to supporting APIs and backend functionality.
- Mentor engineers through code reviews, design feedback, pairing, and technical guidance.
- Participate in on-call, incident response, and customer escalations.
- Collaborate across squads and share work through demos and technical discussions.
What we're looking for
- Production experience building and maintaining web applications with React and TypeScript.
- Comfort contributing to backend services and APIs.
- Experience delivering complex projects, mentoring engineers, and communicating in a remote, asynchronous environment.
- Experience operating production software, including on-call and incident response.
- Strong user focus, ownership, and ability to work independently.
- Thoughtful use of AI coding tools, with validation of their output.
Nice to have
- Open-source contribution or maintainership.
- Interest in observability or experience with Grafana, Prometheus, Loki, or Tempo.
- Experience with databases, SQL, or database performance monitoring.
- Experience building backend services in Go.
- Experience working in a fully remote, globally distributed team.
