What you'll do
- Own projects from problem definition through rollout, user feedback, and impact measurement
- Build reusable, intuitive user experiences and contribute to supporting APIs and backend functionality
- Mentor engineers through code reviews, design feedback, and pairing
- Participate in on-call, incident response, and customer escalations
- Collaborate across squads and share work through demos and technical discussions
What we're looking for
- Production experience with React and TypeScript
- Experience across the stack and comfort contributing to backend services and APIs
- Technical ownership of complex projects and experience mentoring engineers
- Experience operating production software, including on-call and incident response
- Clear communication in a remote, asynchronous environment
- Pragmatic, user-focused approach to breaking down complex work
- Thoughtful use and validation of AI coding tools
Nice to have
- Open-source contribution or maintainership
- Interest or experience in observability tools such as Grafana and Prometheus
- Experience with databases, SQL, or database performance monitoring
- Experience building backend services in Go
- Experience using Grafana, Prometheus, Loki, or Tempo on-call
- Experience working in a fully remote, globally distributed team
