What you'll do
- Own onboarding, termination, and device logistics automations end to end.
- Manage Workato recipes, connections, error handling, and alerts.
- Create runbooks, monitoring, and failure-response processes for critical IT workflows.
- Build Okta and Rovo/Jira workflows to reduce manual IT tasks.
- Establish foundations for IT as code using a repository, Terraform, CI/CD, and linters.
- Partner with Security Operations and Business Applications on access, approvals, and platform limits.
- Maintain monthly workflow reliability of 99% or better and report performance to IT leadership.
What we're looking for
- Five or more years of experience in IT engineering, systems engineering, or automation engineering.
- Hands-on experience building and operating automations in Workato or a similar workflow platform.
- Experience using Python to automate IT or business processes, including REST API calls.
- Working knowledge of APIs, webhooks, and data mapping between systems.
- Ability to diagnose root causes, implement error handling and alerts, and write usable runbooks.
- Experience supporting a distributed or remote-first workforce and independently owning critical workflows.
Nice to have
- Strong Okta administration, API, and Okta Workflows experience.
- Experience with Terraform, CI/CD, linters, Bash, and Linux.
- Experience with Rovo/Jira workflows or AI-agent workflow features.
- Experience automating onboarding, offboarding, or device lifecycle processes with measurable reliability results.
- Experience at a high-growth SaaS or cybersecurity company.
- Relevant Okta, Workato, or similar certifications.
- DevOps experience.
