What you'll do
- Operate and improve Okta configuration, policies, lifecycle management, and identity troubleshooting.
- Lead IAM initiatives such as role-based access control, access reviews, and onboarding/offboarding automation.
- Build auditable safeguards for identity and access changes.
- Develop durable application integrations using identity protocols and APIs.
- Improve access requests and employee lifecycle workflows.
- Partner with IT, Security, and Device Infrastructure on rollouts, risk management, and audits.
- Participate in the on-call rotation and advise employees on identity and access questions.
What we're looking for
- Substantial experience in IT engineering or systems administration.
- Production administration experience with Okta or a comparable identity provider.
- Experience with SAML, OIDC, and SCIM application integrations.
- Ability to build integrations and automation with REST APIs and Python or Bash.
- Experience with infrastructure or configuration as code and Git-based review workflows.
- Experience applying AI to improve workflows and managing project risks, timelines, stakeholders, and change.
Nice to have
- Terraform-based identity provider management.
- Experience with 1Password Enterprise or Device Trust.
- Experience supporting SOC 2, SOX, or ISO 27001 audits.
