What you'll do
- Design clear ways to explore connections between services, infrastructure, and databases
- Translate user research and data into digestible experiences
- Tailor experiences to different user audiences and workflows
- Collaborate with product, engineering, technical writing, and go-to-market partners
- Balance customer needs, business priorities, and technical constraints
- Document user needs, pain points, design directions, trade-offs, and feature designs
- Conduct qualitative research and contribute to broader research initiatives
What we're looking for
- 7+ years of relevant product design experience, ideally in B2B or enterprise software
- Portfolio demonstrating effective designs for complex products
- Experience conducting qualitative research in complex domains
- Ability to balance business goals, customer feedback, research, and technical considerations
- Strong cross-functional collaboration across locations and time zones
- Attention to detail and willingness to learn a technical product domain
- Experience in a fully remote, fast-paced environment
Nice to have
- Experience designing clear, data-dense interfaces
- Knowledge of observability, cloud infrastructure, or database monitoring
- Ability to quickly learn technical domains and user workflows
- Experience improving design practice and collaboration in engineering-led organizations
