What you'll do
- Manage the monthly close, journal entries, reconciliations, and flux analyses for revenue, deferred revenue, and contract assets
- Prepare the deferred revenue waterfall and financial reporting metrics
- Reconcile consumption data to billing and revenue, using queries and automation
- Review customer contracts under ASC 606 and prepare accounting checklists for complex deals
- Prepare estimates, including standalone selling price analyses
- Support new products, pricing models, SKU launches, and system implementations
- Support external audits and manage revenue-related PBC requests
- Improve quote-to-revenue workflows with cross-functional partners
What we're looking for
- 3+ years of progressive accounting experience, focused on revenue accounting
- Working knowledge of ASC 606, contract review, SSP, and revenue disclosures
- Experience with NetSuite, Stripe, Salesforce, and their integrations and data flows
- Comfort working with large datasets and SQL or similar query tools
- Strong analytical, communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
Nice to have
- SaaS or consumption-based technology company experience
- Cloud marketplace billing experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure
- CPA or equivalent, and/or Big Four public accounting experience
- Experience with audits, internal controls, or SOX readiness
- Interest in using AI and automation to streamline processes
