What you'll do
- Design, develop, secure, and operate services communicating with deployed endpoint agents
- Own features end to end, from technical design through release and production operation, including UI
- Extend event-driven services and endpoint software capabilities
- Champion secure coding and modern development practices
- Improve quality through testing, performance tuning, refactoring, usability improvements, and automation
- Partner cross-functionally to scope and deliver solutions using data-driven decisions
What we're looking for
- 5+ years designing, developing, testing, and monitoring high-availability SaaS applications
- Strong experience with Go or Java
- Experience with continuously connected client applications
- AWS production experience and secure coding knowledge, such as OWASP
- Experience shipping frontend features with TypeScript and a modern JavaScript framework
- Experience scaling microservices and event ingestion; familiarity with WebSockets, Kafka or MQTT, DynamoDB, networking, or DevOps
- Strong communication, collaboration, and mentoring skills
Nice to have
- Experience building desktop or cross-platform applications
- Experience with endpoint software on macOS, Windows, or Linux
- Automated end-to-end testing experience with Python, Playwright, or similar
