What you'll do
- Build agent tools, prompts, guardrails, and multi-turn workflows with memory
- Develop in-product chat, streaming responses, permission-aware APIs, and the external MCP server
- Build evaluations, catch regressions, and improve quality, latency, and cost using production feedback
- Help shape how agents are built, deployed, and operated as the product grows
What we're looking for
- 7+ years building production software
- Fluent Python, including async programming, and experience with FastAPI, FastMCP, or Django
- Experience shipping LLM-powered features or agents to customers, including exposing tools via MCP
- Practical understanding of prompting, tool use, context management, and model failure modes
- Experience measuring and improving AI quality
- Strong API and tool design skills, including authentication and authorization
- Proactively use AI tools to improve productivity and delivery
- Overlap with US working hours; Eastern time preferred
Nice to have
- Experience with agent frameworks such as Pydantic AI, LangGraph, or the OpenAI Agents SDK
- MCP servers and LLM tooling
- AI evaluation methods and tools, including DeepEval and LLM-as-judge
- Streaming UIs, server-sent events, and Vue.js
- LLM observability
- AI security, including prompt-injection defenses and tenant isolation
