What you'll do

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and contribute to frontend features
• Build well-tested software using modern engineering and DevOps practices
• Contribute to architecture, system design, and technical decisions
• Collaborate with Product, Design, and Engineering stakeholders
• Review code, mentor teammates, and improve engineering standards
• Troubleshoot production issues and improve performance, reliability, and scalability

What we're looking for

• 5–6+ years of professional software engineering experience, with a strong backend focus and frontend exposure
• Hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, React, microservices, REST APIs, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and AWS
• Experience designing scalable systems and distributed architectures
• Daily experience with AI coding tools such as Cursor and Claude Code
• Strong understanding of TDD, clean code, and software engineering best practices
• Excellent written and spoken English

Nice to have

• Docker and Kubernetes experience
• Agile experience with Scrum or Kanban
• Experience building highly scalable SaaS platforms
