Senior Software Engineer (Backend) - AI/ML

What you'll do

• Build AI-powered features across backend services and frontend interfaces.
• Design scalable APIs connecting ClickHouse with AI/ML systems and services.
• Integrate ClickHouse with AI/ML frameworks, tools, and standards.
• Bring models into production with monitoring, versioning, observability, and evaluation.
• Participate in the daytime on-call rotation.
• Develop tools, SDKs, and documentation for ClickHouse AI/ML capabilities.

What we're looking for

• At least 5 years of software engineering experience in production environments.
• Exposure to AI/ML technologies.
• Backend development experience with TypeScript or Python, including API design and service architecture.
• Ability to own and drive features from concept to production with minimal supervision.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience deploying AI/ML models in production, including inference APIs and vector databases.
• Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or GCP, particularly AI/ML deployment services.
• Understanding of database systems and data-processing pipelines; ClickHouse experience is a plus.
