What you'll do
- Develop and operate the agent platform and the AI infrastructure supporting it.
- Build agents and workflows that automate engineering and business processes with human oversight.
- Own source control and CI infrastructure and develop tools that improve developer productivity.
- Partner cross-functionally to identify opportunities for AI to improve work and outcomes.
- Drive adoption of agentic tools and create best practices and enablement materials.
- Measure usage, reliability, cost, and productivity to guide the platform roadmap.
- Turn internal platform learnings into product requirements and open-source contributions.
- Participate in on-call support for internal users.
What we're looking for
- Strong software engineering fundamentals and experience operating production-quality internal platforms or developer tools.
- Experience with modern agentic coding tools such as Codex or Claude Code.
- Proficiency in Go, TypeScript/JavaScript, Python, Java, or a similar language used at Temporal.
- Experience building workflow automation or internal tools.
- Good judgment in balancing standardization, flexibility, friction reduction, and reliability.
- Ability to work cross-functionally, use data and feedback to measure impact, and communicate clearly in writing.

- Experience building internal agents and operating an agent platform.
- Experience building and operating Temporal applications.
