What you'll do

• Design, build, and operate distributed services and compute infrastructure
• Own end-to-end design and development of scalable data pipelines
• Improve data movement from production systems to data infrastructure
• Participate in on-call support for production issues
• Ensure secure handling of participant and employer data
• Lead the evolution of the data platform towards AI consumption
• Build interfaces for data engineers, analysts, and AI systems
• Mentor engineers and analysts

What we're looking for

• 5+ years of experience with production software systems
• Experience designing distributed systems and services
• Hands-on experience with containerized workloads in AWS
• Ability to own complex production systems
• Experience with workflow orchestration tools like Airflow

Nice to have

• Experience with event-sourced or append-only log systems
• Knowledge of cloud data warehouse technologies like Snowflake
• Experience supporting machine learning models in production
• Familiarity with data lakehouse architectures
• Background in fintech or highly regulated industries
