What you'll do
- Influence the team roadmap and deliver features iteratively
- Drive projects from initial ideation through customer operations
- Design, build, operate, and maintain critical distributed systems
- Participate in on-call rotations and own service reliability
- Contribute to open-source projects and mentor teammates
What we're looking for
- Experience with Go, Rust, Python, or a similar language
- Knowledge of and experience with large distributed systems
- Experience delivering projects from requirements through customer release
- Experience developing cloud software or systems engineering
- Ability to write clean, robust, performant, maintainable software
- Self-directed, customer-focused, pragmatic, and effective in remote collaboration
Nice to have
- Operational experience with Grafana and Prometheus
- On-call, SRE, or infrastructure-as-code experience
