Senior Software Engineer, Security Assurance

What you'll do

• Develop and maintain automated security assurance and compliance programs
• Build security observability systems, automation, and internal tooling
• Integrate security controls into software development and operational workflows
• Create developer-friendly guardrails and paved roads in build pipelines
• Respond to customer security issues, alerts, and potential incidents

What we're looking for

• Production software development experience in at least one programming language
• Knowledge of securing containerized, cloud-native applications
• Experience automating security and compliance processes
• Strong communication skills with peers, stakeholders, auditors, and customers
• Understanding of security frameworks such as ISO 27001, SOC 2, PCI DSS, NIST, or GDPR
• Degree in computer science, information security, or related field, or equivalent experience

Nice to have

• Experience with multiple cloud providers
• Familiarity with Grafana Labs products or open-source projects
• Experience with open-source communities
• Automating infrastructure compliance evidence
• Securing large-scale distributed systems in public clouds
