Senior Software Engineer (Typescript / FrontEnd) - AI/ML

Build and operate AI- and machine-learning-powered products for ClickHouse Cloud. The role combines TypeScript and React frontend development with full-stack feature delivery, APIs, and production integrations with AI/ML systems.

What you'll do

• Build AI-powered features across backend services and frontend interfaces.
• Design scalable APIs connecting ClickHouse with AI/ML inference systems.
• Maintain integrations with AI/ML frameworks, tools, and standards.
• Integrate models into production with monitoring, versioning, observability, and evaluation.
• Build responsive interfaces that make AI functionality accessible.
• Participate in the daytime on-call rotation.

What we're looking for

• 5+ years of software engineering experience in production environments.
• Exposure to AI/ML technologies.
• Strong TypeScript/JavaScript and React frontend skills.
• Ability to own features from concept through production with minimal supervision.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience deploying AI/ML models in production, including inference APIs and vector databases.
• Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or GCP AI/ML services.
• Knowledge of databases and data-processing pipelines; ClickHouse experience is a plus.
• Experience building data-oriented interfaces and visualizations.
