What you'll do
- Resolve rare, complex technical problems without an established playbook
- Set technical direction and standards across Solutions Engineering
- Lead the strategy and hands-on delivery of enterprise and partner integrations
- Coordinate engineering, platform, and go-to-market teams to deliver customer commitments
- Create reusable integration patterns and tooling
- Mentor senior technical team members and influence product and engineering roadmaps
What we're looking for
- 8–12+ years of relevant experience, including senior technical pre-sales, solutions architecture, or implementation leadership
- Independent ownership of complex, high-stakes technical problems
- Ability to communicate credibly with engineers and executives
- Experience setting technical direction across a team or function
- Experience influencing product and engineering roadmaps
- Fluency in Salesforce/CRM, API and integration architecture, OAuth/token authorization, and payroll/tax/compliance systems
Nice to have
- Payroll certification
- Staff- or Principal-level technical pre-sales or solutions architecture experience
- Experience launching a new technical program or capability, such as an OAuth-based partner access program
- Experience mentoring senior technical individual contributors
