What you'll do
- Lead technical discovery, product demonstrations, workshops, and platform validation.
- Own solution design and proofs of concept or value, and contribute to tenders, audits, and value stream assessments.
- Partner with account executives to support customer acquisition and expansion across Italy.
- Build relationships with technical practitioners and business leaders, and guide transformation and adoption.
- Share customer feedback, use cases, and competitive insights with internal teams.
- Develop technical expertise and reusable guidance on GitLab, DevSecOps, AI, and cloud technologies.
What we're looking for
- Experience in technical pre-sales, consulting, or a similar customer-facing role.
- Knowledge of the software development lifecycle, DevSecOps, CI/CD, and modern software practices.
- Hands-on experience with GitLab or comparable source control, CI/CD, and collaboration platforms.
- Practical knowledge of cloud computing, including deployment, security, and operations.
- Ability to lead technical evaluations, workshops, and value stream assessments.
- Strong technical communication and presentation skills for technical and business audiences.
- Customer empathy and ability to build trusted relationships and advocate internally.
- Experience in the MEA region; Arabic and English language skills required.
