What you'll do

• Build and operate production services for AI orchestration, integrations, and real-time data pipelines.
• Design platform services, schedulers, session history, protocols, and APIs.
• Collaborate with AI/ML, product, and front-end engineers to ship features.
• Build and evolve highly available infrastructure as code.
• Promote documentation, testing, and reliability; mentor junior engineers.

What we're looking for

• 5+ years of back-end development experience.
• Experience building, deploying, and debugging production systems at scale.
• Experience with AWS or another cloud platform.
• Strong CI/CD and infrastructure-as-code knowledge.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate across teams.
• Strong product judgment and tradeoff-making skills.
• Fluency with AI coding tools and a perspective on their use in software development.

Nice to have

• Experience building backend services for AI products or integrating with ML pipelines.
• Experience with real-time systems, event-driven architectures, or high-throughput APIs.
