What you'll do
- Break down larger projects into tasks and deliver them in phases.
- Collaborate with Product, Design, and Analytics on requirements, technical constraints, risks, and trade-offs.
- Monitor service metrics, escalate issues, and support on-call and operational work.
- Participate in team growth activities, including interviews.
What we're looking for
- At least 1.5 years of software engineering experience.
- Experience designing, developing, and launching backend systems; proficiency in Python or Kotlin.
- Familiarity with distributed systems, AWS, MySQL, and Kubernetes.
- Able to design solutions across multiple software components and write clear, tested, extensible code.
- Comfortable navigating large codebases, debugging code, and reviewing peers’ work.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
