What you'll do
- Build and ship features across the Ori CLI and its harness integrations.
- Enable model switching, provider fallbacks, model-specific settings, and organization guardrails.
- Develop secure agent runtime capabilities, including sandboxing, secrets and session management, and shared skills.
- Support deploying, forking, and shutting down agents in the cloud with version-controlled, auditable state.
- Own product quality across installation, authentication, reliability, observability, and evaluations.
- Feed product needs back into OpenRouter APIs and SDKs.
What we're looking for
- 5+ years shipping production software, with ownership of developer tools, CLIs, agent products, or related infrastructure.
- Daily experience with coding agents and informed opinions about agent loops, harnesses, and tool integrations.
- Understanding of tool calling, context management, prompt caching, evaluations, and model cost, latency, and quality tradeoffs.
- Good systems judgment around sandboxing, process isolation, secrets, and reliability.
- High agency, user focus, and ability to prototype, ship, and iterate on a small team.
- Strong product sense for developer tools and attention to onboarding details.
Nice to have
- Built or maintained an open-source agent harness, CLI, or developer tool.
- Experience with multi-agent systems, agent skills or memory, or evaluation and benchmarking tools.
- Shipped a Slack app or native macOS app.
- OpenRouter or Ori user, or active AI tooling side projects.
