What you'll do

• Design, test, deploy, and maintain backend infrastructure services
• Build tools for resource provisioning, deployments, and operational workflows
• Evaluate tradeoffs involving reliability, performance, resilience, cost, and engineering velocity
• Improve monitoring and alerting, troubleshoot production issues, and address recurring failures
• Review code and maintain engineering documentation and testing standards

What we're looking for

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, plus 2 years of software engineering experience
• At least 2 years of production backend development in Go, including automated testing
• At least 2 years working with distributed systems, microservices, and HTTP/REST or gRPC APIs
• At least 2 years deploying and operating services on cloud infrastructure
• At least 2 years using Docker and Kubernetes to operate production services
• At least 2 years of observability and Linux production troubleshooting using logs, metrics, and tracing
