Software Engineer, Stream Integrations

About this role

Build integrations that connect Cribl Stream’s real-time telemetry processing engine with third-party data systems. The role combines technology research with software development, testing, and support for customer-facing integrations.

Stack

What you'll do

• Develop and maintain integrations between Cribl Stream and third-party data systems.
• Research and configure third-party technologies to support integration development.
• Design, implement, and test robust software features, including automated and integration tests.
• Collaborate on feature design and code reviews with engineering and cross-functional partners.
• Participate in a weekly 24/7 on-call rotation and other off-hours support duties.
• Contribute to product documentation, blogs, and user communities.

What we're looking for

• Experience integrating third-party applications, libraries, and APIs.
• Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, operating systems, and distributed systems.
• Experience using and developing REST APIs.
• Experience building on cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Comfort with research and discovery before implementation.
• Ability to build robust systems amid uncertainty.
• Experience with Agile processes and iterative development.
• Strong ownership, communication, and collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with OAuth2, OpenID Connect, LDAP, or SAML.
• Experience with Node.js internals or C++.
