Solutions Architect (ANZ)

About this role

Advise enterprise and digital-native customers on business and technical solutions using Stripe’s financial infrastructure. Partner with sales teams to shape customer strategies, win complex opportunities, and grow adoption across existing accounts.

What you'll do

• Discover customer needs and design technically feasible solutions.
• Present and demonstrate solutions to technical teams and executives.
• Identify complex sales opportunities and drive product adoption and account growth.
• Advise senior customer executives on technology and architecture strategy.
• Support sales forecasting, business reviews, and account planning.
• Collaborate with sales, professional services, customer success, partners, and product teams.

What we're looking for

• At least 4 years in a customer-facing engineering role such as solutions architect, sales engineer, or presales consultant.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycles and API architectures.
• Strong executive engagement, communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
• Able to explain complex concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Able to work independently in an ambiguous, fast-paced environment and travel as needed.

Nice to have

• Experience in fintech or payments.
• Coding experience in Ruby, Python, JavaScript, Java, Go, or another Stripe deployment language.
