What you'll do
- Lead technical discovery and architecture for strategic customer deals
- Advise on cloud architecture and self-hosted or LiveKit Cloud deployments
- Build tailored demos and reusable reference applications for voice, video, and telephony
- Scope and run proofs of concept, helping customers reach production
- Design for connectivity, low latency, scale, and reliability
- Create technical content, including guides, blog posts, webinars, and conference talks
- Share regional customer insights with Product and Engineering
What we're looking for
- 4+ years in solutions architecture, sales engineering, customer-facing engineering, or equivalent hands-on engineering
- Hands-on experience architecting, deploying, and debugging applications on AWS, GCP, or Azure
- Knowledge of containers, Kubernetes, infrastructure as code, and networking fundamentals
- Ability to reason about end-to-end connectivity, infrastructure, and latency
- Strong programming ability in Python, TypeScript/Node.js, or Go
- Clear communication and presentation skills for technical audiences
Nice to have
- Knowledge of WebRTC, RTP/SRTP, or WebSockets and their latency and quality trade-offs
- Familiarity with the AI voice stack, including STT/TTS, LLM integration, speech-to-speech, turn detection, and telephony/SIP
- Technical writing, open-source contributions, or speaking at meetups and conferences
