Solutions Engineer - Central

About this role

Serve as a customer-facing technical advisor, helping organizations evaluate and adopt Neo4j’s graph intelligence platform. Partner with sales teams to connect customer business needs with graph solutions, guide technical evaluations, and support customers’ path to value.

What you'll do

• Lead technical evaluations and support sales opportunities through qualification, discovery, demonstrations, and proofs of value.
• Design solution and reference architectures, integrating Neo4j with customer systems in cloud or on-premise environments.
• Build trusted relationships with customer stakeholders and communicate technical and business value.
• Share customer needs and product feedback with internal teams.
• Participate in marketing events, conferences, and trade shows; travel as needed.

What we're looking for

• 3–5+ years of customer-facing experience in solutions engineering, presales, solutions architecture, technical consulting, or a similar role.
• Experience with enterprise data architecture, data analytics, data science, or cloud data architecture.
• Familiarity with graph data technology.
• Hands-on proficiency with relational SQL and/or NoSQL databases and at least one programming language: Python, Java, JavaScript, Go, or C#.
• Experience designing and implementing data solutions in a public cloud or on-premise environment.
• Strong communication skills with technical and non-technical audiences.

Nice to have

• Working knowledge of Neo4j.
• Experience in a high-growth, scaling environment.
