What you'll do
- Review contracts and supporting data for revenue recognition during close.
- Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, account analyses, and schedules.
- Validate commission calculations and coordinate accruals and adjustments.
- Investigate variances and resolve accounting discrepancies with stakeholders.
- Support close activities, audits, and cross-functional accounting processes.
What we're looking for
- 3+ years of progressive accounting experience, including revenue accounting, commissions, and month-end close.
- Knowledge of US GAAP and revenue recognition, preferably ASC 606.
- Experience with journal entries, reconciliations, audit support, and SaaS contract documentation.
- Strong Excel, analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage deadlines in a remote environment.
Nice to have
- Experience with Sage Intacct Contracts and Salesforce or another CRM.
