What you'll do
- Build and maintain customer portals, backend services, and APIs for usage and billing workflows
- Develop integrations with business platforms and cloud marketplaces
- Implement usage metering, pricing, promotions, and billing reconciliation logic
- Improve reliability, observability, test coverage, and CI/CD
- Lead technical projects, mentor engineers, and contribute to roadmap and design decisions
- Support production systems through on-call, runbooks, alerts, and recovery improvements
What we're looking for
- At least one year of fully remote work experience
- Experience with large SaaS platforms and distributed systems, including scalability, multi-tenancy, data isolation, and high availability
- Strong professional experience with Go or Node.js and TypeScript and React
- Experience delivering projects from requirements through customer release
- Write clean, robust, well-tested, maintainable software
- Experience mentoring engineers in an asynchronous environment
- Strong Kubernetes experience on AWS, GCP, or Azure, and familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools
- Communicate transparently and collaborate across teams and stakeholders
Nice to have
- Experience with usage metering, billing engines, or cost-management applications
- Experience integrating third-party business systems or cloud marketplaces
- Experience with frontend component libraries, design systems, and CSS-in-JS
- Experience with SaaS provisioning, tenancy, regional expansion, or customer lifecycle systems
- Incident response experience involving configuration drift, partial failures, or cross-service state mismatches
