What you'll do
- Build and evolve customer portals, full-stack applications, backend services, and APIs for usage and billing workflows.
- Maintain integrations with business platforms and cloud marketplaces.
- Develop business logic for usage metering, pricing, promotions, and billing reconciliation.
- Improve CI/CD, test coverage, observability, reliability, and operational procedures.
- Lead technical projects, mentor engineers, and contribute to roadmap and design decisions.
- Participate in a follow-the-sun on-call rotation when ready.
What we're looking for
- At least one year of fully remote work experience.
- Experience with large SaaS platforms and distributed systems challenges such as scalability, multi-tenancy, data isolation, and high availability.
- Strong professional experience with Go or Node.js and TypeScript/React.
- Strong Kubernetes experience on AWS, GCP, or Azure, and familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools.
- Experience delivering projects from requirements through customer release, writing tested maintainable software, and mentoring engineers.
- Able to lead complex work iteratively and collaborate asynchronously across teams and stakeholders.
Nice to have
- Experience with usage metering, billing engines, or customer cost-management applications.
- Experience integrating NetSuite, Salesforce, or cloud marketplaces.
- Experience with design systems, component libraries, and modern CSS-in-JS.
- Experience with SaaS provisioning, tenancy, regional expansion, or customer lifecycle systems.
- Incident response experience involving configuration drift, partial failures, or cross-service state mismatches.
