Staff Product Manager, Enterprise Deployment Solutions

About this role

Own the vision, strategy, and roadmap for Grafana Federal Cloud and Grafana Cloud Bring Your Own Cloud (BYOC). Help Grafana serve organizations that cannot use standard multi-tenant SaaS because of compliance, data, or cost-at-scale constraints, balancing customer needs with engineering and operational trade-offs.

Grafana Labs builds open-source and commercial observability tools for metrics, logs, and traces, centered on Grafana dashboards. It helps teams monitor infrastructure and applications and investigate incidents.

What you'll do

• Define product vision, strategy, and roadmap for Federal Cloud and BYOC.
• Own product positioning, messaging, differentiation, and launch work with Product Marketing.
• Partner with Engineering and Technical Program Management on deployment-environment buildouts.
• Work with customers, prospects, field teams, partners, resellers, and analysts on deployment options and strategic deals.
• Coordinate with Security, Compliance, and Legal on product changes affecting authorizations or customer commitments.
• Use AI tools to support research, product-signal analysis, and positioning.

What we're looking for

• At least 5 years of technical B2B product management experience, or a technical background with demonstrated product ownership.
• Hands-on experience with a non-standard SaaS deployment model such as self-managed, air-gapped, sovereign, BYOC, single-tenant, or government cloud.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure, platform software, or developer tools.
• Strong product and go-to-market judgment, including product positioning and sales strategy.
• Interest in US public-sector customers and their needs and buying cycles.
• Ability to lead across teams without direct authority and communicate effectively in a globally distributed remote organization.

Nice to have

• Experience building for or selling to government customers or highly regulated industries.
• Familiarity with FedRAMP, StateRAMP/GovRAMP, BSI C5, SecNumCloud, or government and sovereign cloud offerings.
• Experience with pricing and packaging across deployment models.
• Experience with observability, monitoring, or data-intensive infrastructure products.
• Experience with resellers, systems integrators, or cloud marketplace partners.
• Familiarity with open-source software or commercial open-source companies.
