About this role
Own the strategy and roadmap for Grafana Cloud deployment options outside standard multitenant SaaS, including Bring Your Own Cloud (BYOC) and Federal Cloud. Adapt Grafana Cloud capabilities for organizations with compliance, data-residency, or cost-at-scale constraints, and help determine future deployment models.
About the company
Grafana Labs builds open-source and commercial observability tools for metrics, logs, and traces, centered on Grafana dashboards. It helps teams monitor infrastructure and applications and investigate incidents.
What you'll do
- Define product vision, strategy, and roadmap for BYOC and Federal Cloud.
- Shape product positioning, messaging, differentiation, launches, and go-to-market enablement.
- Coordinate with Engineering and Technical Program Management on delivery, balancing customer timelines with capacity.
- Work with customers, prospects, field teams, partners, resellers, and analysts on deployment options and strategic deals.
- Partner with Security, Compliance, and Legal on changes affecting authorizations and customer commitments.
- Use AI tools to support research, product-signal analysis, and positioning.
What we're looking for
- 5+ years of technical B2B product management experience, or a technical background with demonstrated product ownership.
- Hands-on experience with non-standard SaaS deployment models such as self-managed, air-gapped, sovereign, BYOC, single-tenant, or FedRAMP environments.
- Experience with cloud infrastructure, platform software, or developer tools.
- Strong product and go-to-market judgment, including product definition and positioning.
- Interest in US public-sector customers and their needs and buying cycles.
- Experience leading across teams without direct authority; excellent written and verbal communication.
Nice to have
- Experience building for or selling to US federal, state, or local government, or other regulated industries.
- Familiarity with sovereign or government cloud frameworks and offerings such as FedRAMP, StateRAMP, AWS GovCloud, Azure Government, or sovereign cloud services.
- Experience with pricing and packaging across deployment models.
- Experience with observability, monitoring, or data-intensive infrastructure products.
- Experience with resellers, systems integrators, or cloud marketplace partners.
- Familiarity with open-source software or commercial open-source companies.
Benefits
- Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).
- 30 days of annual leave per year, including three Grafana Shutdown Days.
- In-person onboarding.
